Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master who can also function as a Project Manager, owning end-to-end Agile delivery. The ideal candidate will ensure sprint execution, manage cross-geographic coordination across multi-level teams, remove delivery blockers, and maintain strong alignment between US-based business stakeholders and the offshore engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Agile & Delivery Management
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Ensure Agile best practices are followed across teams
- Track sprint progress, velocity, capacity, and delivery commitments
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency and quality
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between US Product Owners and the India delivery team
- Translate business priorities into executable sprint goals
- Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines
- Ensure scope, timelines, and quality expectations are clearly communicated and met
Team Coordination
- Work closely with Tech Leads, BAs, QA Leads, and Architects
- Ensure sprint readiness including estimation, documentation, and dependency clearance
- Help resolve cross-team and cross-time-zone challenges
- Promote collaboration between development, QA, and business teams
Reporting & Governance
- Provide regular sprint and release updates to stakeholders
- Track metrics such as velocity, spillover, defects, and delivery health
- Ensure Jira hygiene, documentation standards, and process compliance
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Project Manager in Agile environments
- Strong experience in e-commerce platforms, preferably B2B or retail
- Experience working with offshore teams (India) and US-based stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC best practices
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work with flexibility for overlap with IST
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Magento / Adobe Commerce or similar e-commerce platforms
- Exposure to support and maintenance projects
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) or PMP is a plus
