Job Description
We are looking for a skilled BigCommerce Developer with 3–4 years of experience in developing scalable eCommerce applications and headless commerce solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in BigCommerce (Stencil & Catalyst/Headless), React.js, Next.js, GraphQL, Node.js, and Makeswift CMS, with strong expertise in building high-performance and SEO-friendly eCommerce websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BigCommerce storefronts using Stencil and Headless Commerce architecture.
- Build scalable and high-performing headless eCommerce applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Integrate BigCommerce APIs, GraphQL APIs, and third-party services.
- Implement and customize Makeswift CMS components and page-building experiences.
- Develop backend services and integrations using Node.js.
- Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and accessibility standards.
- Work on B2B eCommerce features, custom checkout enhancements, and API integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in project estimation, technical discussions, and solution planning.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in BigCommerce (Stencil & Headless/Catalyst).
- Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js.
- Strong understanding of GraphQL and API integrations.
- Experience in Node.js and backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Makeswift CMS.
- Good understanding of headless commerce architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and middleware.
- Strong understanding of SEO optimization, performance tuning, and accessibility.
- Experience with Git, version control, and Agile development practices.
Nice to Have
- Personal/academic AI projects, Kaggle/GitHub contributions.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and model deployment.
- Enthusiasm for experimenting with new tools and techniques.
